TwistedPhilly: A Podcast Dedicated to Mischief and Mayhem in the City of Brotherly Love

King of Prussia, PA – July 23, 2017

Since launching in August, 2016, TwistedPhilly podcast has been delighting, entertaining, moving and scaring listeners from around the tri-state area, the country and the globe.

Lifetime suburban Philadelphia native, creator and host, Deana Marie, wanted to tell stories that resonated
with her in the hopes like minded listeners would enjoy learning about Philadelphia and Pennsylvania. Covering a myriad of twisted tales including true crime, history, hauntings and legends, plus some of the
coolest and creepiest places to visit, Deana Marie blends her passion for local history, story telling and the
macabre into a podcast unlike any other.

Deana Marie says, “As a local, these are stories I know, stories I remember. Every location is somewhere
I’ve visited. Whether I’m telling listeners about the horrific crimes of legendary serial killer Gary Heidnik, or my favorite Philadelphia attractions to celebrate Halloween, every episode is filled with the perspective of a Philly native.”

Deana Marie describes her topics with incredible emotion and detail. Whether she’s sharing William Penn’s
legacy high atop City Hall, or her own experiences when she drove past a crime scene over 20 years ago on Route 476, TwistedPhilly is totally unique and unexpected. Recently Deana Marie hosted her first live show at the annual Philadelphia Podcast Festival, a showcase for Philly area podcasts. The event at Tattooed Moms on South Street was standing room only, and Deana Marie is now partnering with the event creators on a true crime live podcast event later this year.

Thousands of listeners from all over the US, UK, Canada, Australia, Europe and countries around the world
tune in each week to hear the unexpected about the city of brotherly love and sisterly affection. TwistedPhilly is a weekly five-star rated podcast available on iTunes, Stitcher, Overcast and most podcast apps.
